BOO!

Que desastre!  No tenemos calabaza, he esperado hasta el último momento y al final me he quedado sin ella.
Tampoco tenemos buñuelos, aquí nos ha pasado al revés, los hicimos el viernes y bueno, ya no nos quedan.
Lo que si tenemos y en abundancia, son chuches!! Entre eso y el atracón de buñuelos que nos hemos dado esta semana nos va a salir el azúcar por las orejas!

Disaster!  We don´t have a pumpkin, I waited until the last moment and there were none left at the local vegetable store.
We don't have buñuelos either (buñuelos are a sweet we eat in Spain in all Saints Day which is April 1st).  In this case it is for the opposite reason, we made them on Friday, too soon, and we have already eaten all of them.
What we do have is lots of sweets!! With the combined sugar from the sweets and the buñuelos we are going to have sugar coming out of our ears!

Anna Karenina

En general no me gustan los dramones ni las películas/novelas que terminan mal quitando contadas excepciones, y una de ellas es Anna Karenina, la más famosa y según muchos, mejor novela de Leo Tolstoy.

 En el mundo del celuloide también la encuentran bastante fascinante ya que vamos por la cuarta versión cinematográfica.

In general, I do not like dramas or novels/films that do not have a happy ending although I am willing to make an exception with Anna Karenina, Leo Tolstoy’s most famous and arguably best novel.

It seems that in the movie world they find it equally fascinating as the fourth remake of the novel has just been released.

 

La primera Anna fue Greta Garbo, espectacular con este conjunto de pieles.



Greta Garbo was the first Anna with this spectacular fur ensemble.

 Vivien Leigh fue la siguiente Anna.

Vivien Leigh was the next Anna. 

La tercera Anna fue Sophie Marceau en la versión de 1997. Preciosa ella,  preciosa toda la película.  

The third Anna was Sophie Marceau in the 1997 movie version.  A beautiful actress for a beautiful film.

Keira Knightley, la cuarta y, de momento, última Anna Karenina. Todavía no he visto esta película, pero seguro que es excelente.  Además, Keira Knightley parece hecha para papeles en películas de época, verdad?

Keira Knightley is the fourth, and so far, last Anna Karenina.  I still have not seen this film but from what I have heard it too is a beautiful film.  Also, Keira Knightley seems to be made for history films doesn’t she?

Inspirada por la moda y la opulencia del XIX he diseñado unos pendientes dorados con una lágrima de ágata verde, muy favorecedores y ligeros, para poder llevarlos desde por la mañana hasta por la noche.

 Inspired by the fashion and opulence of the 19^th Century I have designed this pair of golden earrings adorned with a tear- shaped green agate.  They are very becoming and amazingly light, the kind of earrings you can wear all day long and into the evening.

Este Finde nos vemos en el Nómada! - See you at the Nomada

 

 Hola!!!

 

Como ya os comenté, este fin de semana (5, 6 y 7 de Octubre),  voy a participar en el Nómada Market, la Feria de Diseño Independiente más importante de España.

 

Habrá más de 150 diseñadores, música, talleres, zona chill out... Mi stand está en la zona verde, que está cerca de la puerta de entrada.

 

Dónde se celebra el Nómada Market?  En el Ático de la Estación de Chamartín. Estaremos allí desde el viernes 5 de Octubre  hasta el domingo 7 de Octubre, en horario ininterrumpido de 12:00 a 21:00. 

 

La zona está muy bien comunicada y se puede llegar por metro, bus o tren. Encontrareis información detallada sobre como llegar aquí.

 

Os dejo con unas fotos del estudio en las que se ve los últimos diseños en los que he estado trabajando, para ver el proceso terminado, tenéis que venir al Nómada!
